As I've said before we LOVE summer! All the warm weather and so much to do. This is the first summer since before Zac was born that I haven't work...Yahoo! I was sorta stressed at first so I made a schedule and it worked out quite well! We did so much fun stuff the kids didn't have a chance to get bored. First off, I decided that Alyssa and Zac are old enough to start helping out around the house...so came the chore charts:) For everyday they finished all of their chores they would recieve a coin, after 5 coins, a prize, after 10 coins, a bigger prize. They still have a hard time with that one...they feel that if they don't like the chore...they just don't do it. Figures:) Monday: Chores.
Tuesday: MOVIE :)
Wednesday: Crafts.
Thursday: Library Story Time/Park.
Friday: Water/pool.
Every week we had a theme that was based on the movie that week (Movie: Planet 51. We made planets for the craft and got space books at the library etc...).
This helped keep the kids entertained all week!!!
